A little story and great moment of the Lyonnais Restaurant

Like a recipe, adding one ingredient at a time, life has brought us to our current location in the Parc de la Glissoire. This former school for coal miners is now the last vestige of a city with a great history.

We have been delighted to extend the same warm welcome to our customers here since 1989, and it has been said that we have succeeded in combining authenticity, originality and a love of tradition. I share this love with Lina, who was born and bred in the beautiful region of Nord-Pas de Calais, my adopted home.

Our loving marriage has in turn produced a marriage of culinary skills, which produce a marriage of flavours, and it makes us very happy that food lovers can come and enjoy the wide range of culinary delights we offer here. Today, you are our honoured guests. All I can do is try to make you love the recipes of my home region using the skills I acquired working in charcuterie in Lyon and then studying at the Ecole Supérieure de Charcuterie in Paris, (France's top charcuterie school).

Enjoy the flavours, indulge yourself and enjoy these few moments of simple pleasure.
